VERNON GOODWIN’S LAST REQUEST FOR THE CHURCH
If you will notice, only those from the Goodwin
family signed this document, Vernon Goodwin, Bridget (Ellege) Goodwin and
Josephine Goodwin, leaving another Goodwin (Glenn) in charge. Since Gary King
was the only other ordained elder, he should have signed this document.
Instead, it was Vernon’s Daughter in law, Bridget and his sister in law,
Josephine. I would call that Goodwin control. Larry Hartquist, David White and
Don Abshire were not elders until after Vernon’s death.
