WHO ARE THE UNGODLY, REALLY?
Psalm 1:4-6 - The ungodly are not so: but are like the chaff which the wind driveth away.  Therefore the ungodly shall not stand in the judgment, nor sinners in the congregation of the righteous.  For the LORD knoweth the way of the righteous: but the way of the ungodly shall perish.
Ungodly: rasha`, raw-shaw', Hebrew 7563; from Hebrew 7561 (rasha`); moral wrong; concrete an (actively) bad person :- + condemned, guilty, ungodly, wicked (man), that did wrong.

Righteous: tsaddiyq, tsad-deek', Hebrew 6662; from Hebrew 6663 (tsadaq); just :- just, lawful, righteous (man).
Way: derek, deh'-rek, Hebrew 1870; from Hebrew 1869 (darak); a road (as trodden); figurative a course of life or mode of action, often adverb :- along, away, because of, + by, conversation, custom, [east-] ward, journey, manner, passenger, through, toward, [high-] [path-] way [-side], whither [-soever].
Perish: 'abad, aw-bad', Hebrew 6; a primitive root; probably to wander away, i.e. lose oneself; by implication to perish (causative destroy) :- break, destroy (-uction), + not escape, fail, lose, (cause to, make) perish, spend, × and surely, take, be undone, × utterly, be void of, have no way to flee.

Psalm 1:4-6 – The * morally wrong, actively bad people, the condemned, guilty, ungodly, wicked people, who did wrong, are not so: but are like the chaff, which the wind drives away.  Therefore the * ungodly shall not abide, continue, endure or succeed in the judgment, nor criminals or ones accounted guilty in the congregation of the just and lawful.  For the LORD knows the way of the just and lawful: but the course of life or mode of action and conversation of the *ungodly shall fail, be destroyed, undone, and have no way to flee.
