COMPARISON IN DOCTRINES
Between Jehovah’s Witnesses (started in1870) and William Sowders
(started 1914 - ?)
Disclaimer: I got
the information concerning the Jehovah’s Witnesses on their own Website and
recollections from studying with them and reading their books. The information
concerning William Sowders was taken from material in my possession that was
given to us by Lloyd Goodwin and from my own recollections from teachings from
various Gospel Assembly Churches through the years. If I’m wrong about any of
this, please advise so I can change it. My comparison is not an acceptance or a
denial of the truth or non truth of these doctrines but just to see if they
were direct NEW revelations as claimed or were taken from other’s and claimed
as original. In my opinion, it is not what a group believes or teaches that
makes it a destructive cult but the amount of control and coerciveness that is

Charles Russell was born on
Feb. 16, 1852 in Pittsburgh. He was raised in a strict Protestant
family. His later study of the Bible led him to deny the existence of hell
and the doctrine of the Trinity and etc…, Christ
